A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the 4.5" handing room and crew shelter between 37½ and 41½ stations on 1 deck. The photographer is looking to starboard from the port side of the compartment showing a stowage cupboard, a first aid cabinet, an electric fire and a workbench fitted with a Record vice on the aft bulkhead. The door to the starboard side of the forecastle is in the forward bulkhead. The watertight hatch leading down to 2 deck is on the left and a toolbox belonging to S Watkins is on the deck on the starboard side.
