A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. The C.P.O's and P.O's dining hall between 50 and 55 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking to port from the port side of the forward end of the hall showing an Electrolux refrigerator on the left with an electric toaster on a shelf above it. An heated plate dispenser is against the port bulkhead and the serving hatch to the galley is on the right. A sign fixed to side of the hatch reads 'Omelettes to order, cheese, tomato or mushroom'. A vertical format negative.
