A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew's galley between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the starboard side at the aft end of the galley showing steaming ovens, an automatic emergency lantern and warming cupboards. On the right is a shelf unit for pan storage and it has a rotary tin opener fixed to the near end. The serving hatch roller shutters are closed. A vertical format negative.
