A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew's galley between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the starboard forward end of the galley showing boiling coppers on the aft bulkhead. Against the starboard side of the ship is a worktop with a sink in it and a meat slicer on the end. Cooking pans are stored under the worktop. A first aid cabinet is in the foreground and there are shelves at high level. A vertical format negative.
