A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew's galley between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck. The photographer is looking forward from the starboard aft end of the galley showing sacks of vegetables on a worktop against the forward bulkhead in the preparing space. Against the starboard side of the ship is a worktop with two sinks in it, a potato peeler at the far end and a meat slicer in the foreground. Cooking pans are stored under the worktop. A first aid cabinet and shelves are above the worktop. On the left are a small worktop above a cupboard with two hot plates alongside it. An automatic emergency lantern is on the extreme left. A vertical format negative.
