In the commanding officer's day cabin between 46½ and 49 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking to port and forward. The curtained door to the lobby is on the left and the door to his pantry is on the right. Between these doors are two armchairs and a coffee table. A copy of the Navy News is on the coffee table. A framed oil painting is on the bulkhead between two wall light fittings.
