A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the steering gear compartment between 85 and 95 stations on 2 deck. The photographer is looking aft on the port side showing low level cupboards on the port side and SDDE cupboard number 4 with racking above it. Wire ropes are stored on the shelves at the stern and an electric fire is on the wire cage protecting the port rudder head on the left. A vertical format negative.
