She is dressed overall, has a grey hull and a deckhouse has been fitted on the poop. The photographer is looking south-by-west from the cable car high above the ship's bow showing a number of small craft alongside the landing steps of the mole in the foreground with a few small steamers berthed stern-on to the far side of the mole. The harbour breakwater is on the left. A vertical format negative.
