Mohawk (1962). The helicopter night flying lighting arrangement on the after funnel.

A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the starboard side close abaft the after funnel showing a close-up view of the group of three floodlights on the starboard side of the funnel. These are part of the helicopter night flying lighting arrangements. On the extreme left under the funnel grill is the glide path indicator. A vertical format negative.
