A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the hangar between 72 and 75 stations on 1 deck looking forward and to starboard from the port side aft showing two of the large chains which controlled the helicopter lift. Another pair of chains are on the port side. The double door into the mortar bay is on the extreme left. A number of fire extinguishers, including the 12 lb dry powder type, are scattered about the hangar. A work bench equipped with a vice is in the starboard forward corner. An armament moving trolley is leaning against the aft bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
