A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty, where this photograph was taken. The photographer is in the Mark 10 Limbo mortar well between 68 and 71¾ stations on 1 deck, looking aft on the starboard side from 68 station. The mortar is on the right, the handing room is on the left and the hangar and helicopter landing pad are in the background. The vertical pipe with the gauge above it to the right of the open hangar door is the dieso filling position. A vertical format negative.
