A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty, where this photograph was taken. The photographer is on the starboard side of 01 deck at 62 station just ahead of the GWS 21 seacat director, looking forward and to port showing the forward funnel and foremast. The 27 feet motor whaler is in davits in the foreground and the starboard seacat launcher is ahead of it. The number for the 6th Frigate Squadron is on the side of the funnel. At the head of the foremast is the AKE (1) mattress aerial for the type 965M radar. The commando carrier Bulwark (1948) is berthed ahead alongside Pitch House and Boat House jetties. A vertical format negative.
