A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty, where this photograph was taken. The photographer is standing on the jetty abreast the ship's after funnel looking forward and to port showing the starboard side of the ship between 00 and 62 stations. At 01 deck level on the left is the liferaft stowage. The 27 feet motor whaler in her davits has a 13 feet 7 inches motor dory on 1 deck below it. At 01 deck level in the centre is a GWS 21 seacat missle quadruple launcher with a three inch rocket launcher and a 20 mm oerlikon gun ahead of it. The ship's fore funnel has a 6 fixed to it, indicating her service with the 6th Frigate Squadron. Her pendant number is F125.
