A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the machinery control room between 58½ and 61 stations on 2 deck looking to port and aft showing the door to the compartment in the centre of the picture. The end of the main engine and boiler control panel is on the right. Various alarm bells are to the left of the door and in the foreground is a desk on which is a steam turbine register. An inclinometer is mounted on a perforated screen on the left. A vertical format negative.
