A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the sonar instrument compartment between 16 and 27½ stations on 3 deck. The photographer is looking forward on the starboard side showing a table top over a watertight hatch that leads down to hull outfit 19 (sonar types 170B, 176 and 185) on 4 deck. A wire cable reel winch is next to this hatch. Against the forward bulkhead are two cabinets labelled SC No.11 and SC No.2 for sonar type 177 spares. A vertical format negative.
