A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking up and to starboard from the centreline between 23 and 25 stations showing the gauges and flood valve for the forward escape tower. On the left is a panel labelled 'S.E.I.E. 8'. In racks under the deckhead on the right are oxygen candles.
