Sealion (1959). In the forward torpedo compartment between 16 and 34 stations.
A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking to starboard and up from the centreline between 27 and 28 stations showing close detail of the bottle screws on the upper torpedo reload rack. Under the deckhead are the No. 183 transceiver unit and its power supply box and stowage racks for oxygen candles. The candle racks are marked 'For escape purposes only. Not to be used during normal patrol until all other stowages are exhausted'. A vertical format negative.
