Sealion (1959). In the forward torpedo compartment between 16 and 34 stations.
A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking to starboard and down from the centreline between 27 and 28 stations showing close detail of the bottle screws on a torpedo reload rack. The vertical bar in the centre is marked 'No. 3 starbd middle'. Two wrapped coils of wire rope are stowed under the lower rack and on the left below deck plate level are three drums marked 'transport, stow and use this side up'. A vertical format negative.
