A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking to port, down and aft from the centreline at 25 to 27 stations showing the lower and middle torpedo reload racks. A vertical bar is labelled No. 2 port middle. Oxygen candle stowage is against the port side and labels read 'For escape purposes only. Oxygen candle stowage' and 'Patrol submarine escape reserve use last'.
