A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking to port, slightly aft and up at 29 to 31 stations from the centreline showing the upper torpedo reload rack with the rack down. A compartment flood handwheel is under the deckhead. A unit marked 'T.C.S.S. 9 socket for battery heating and monitoring' is in the lower right of the picture.
