A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking to port, aft and up into the corner of the aft bulkhead, the port side and the deckhead from close alongside the aft end of the port torpedo reload racks near the centreline at 33 station. A conglomeration of pipes, valves and handwheels are under the deckhead. The vertical column on the left is the aft support for the torpedo reloading track.
