The photographer is in the forward torpedo compartment looking forward from the centreline at 30 station showing the torpedo reload racks and the six torpedo tubes. The port side middle and lower reload racks are in the down position. The starboard side reload racks are in the stowed or up position showing the reload track on the deck. In the deckhead between 24 and 25 stations is the forward escape trunk. A vertical format negative.
