A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the galley on the starboard side of the main flat between 72½ and 77 stations looking forward and slightly to starboard showing the galley range with a canopy above it against the forward bulkhead and in the corner behind a hinged door is a 12 gallon water heater. The range control panel and a work surface with pot stowage below are against the boat's side. A vertical format negative.
