On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Lowestoft (1960) alongside the fitting out berth of Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd at Linthouse, Glasgow. The photographer is in the first lieutenant's cabin between 30 and 31¾ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking to starboard from the doorway. A wardrobe, desk and chair are on the right, the bed settee is against the starboard side of the ship and an easy chair and electric fire are on the left. A vertical format negative.
