The photographer is in the passageway between 38 and 39½ stations on 1 deck looking to starboard from outside the senior officer's pantry. On the right is the handrail around the hatch leading down to 2 deck with an emergency lamp on the bulkhead above it and the open door to the electronics maintenance room has a transformer beyond it. On the forward bulkhead are the sliding door to the senior officer's day cabin, junction boxes, fuse panels and four ire extinguisher powder cartridges. An unknown covered item is stowed vertically at the end of the passage. A vertical format negative.
