On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Lowestoft (1960) alongside the fitting out berth of Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd at Linthouse, Glasgow. The photographer is in the battery charging room between 40½ and 42 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking aft and to port from the door. In the left foreground is a corner of the sink. Battery charging racks and a Type A charging board are against the inboard bulkhead.
