On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Lowestoft (1960) alongside the fitting out berth of Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd at Linthouse, Glasgow. The photographer is looking aft from 60 station on 1 deck showing the two Limbo Mark 10 mortars in the well. A covered seating area has been erected on the quayside in readiness for the commissioning of the ship. The Meadowside Granary is in the left background. A vertical format negative.
