On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Lowestoft (1960) alongsidre the fitting out berth of Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd at Linthouse, Glasgow. The photographer is in the wardroom between 35 and 41 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from the port aft corner showing three armchairs in the foreground and a settee bench on the right. Two large polished tables and 16 chairs can be seen. A glass fronted cabinet is against the starboard side of the ship.
