On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Lowestoft (1960) alongside the fitting out berth of Alexander Stephen & Sons Ltd at Linthouse, Glasgow. The photographer is in the main lobby, colloquially known as the Burma Road, between 25 and 41 stations to port of the centreline on 2 deck. He is looking forward from 41 station showing the officers' bathroom on the right and the combined radar office on the left. A fire hose and a breathing apparatus cupboard are also on the left. The watertight door at 30½ station is open. A vertical format negative.
