An emergency hand lamp, a fire extinguisher, four fire extinguisher dry powder cartridges, a large bore armoured hose, a key cabinet and a tannoy are in the left foreground. The watertight doors at 49 and 41 stations are open revealing the length of this lobby, known colloquially as the Burma Road. A vertical format negative.
