The photographer is in the asdic instrument space between 12½ and 16 stations on 3 deck looking forward and to starboard from the starboard side aft. A/S cabinet No. 5 is in the right foreground. The wooden action spares cabinet has the spare valves cupboard above it with the electrical first aid units cabinet next to it and the receiver amplifier is mainly hidden in the starboard forward corner of the space. A telephone is mounted on a pillar on the left. Standard electrical cabinets are on the left and against the forward bulkhead.
