The Type 12 frigate HMS Lowestoft (1960). Two lockers on the port side of 1 deck at 39 station.

On board the Type 12 frigate Lowestoft (1960) in No. 3 basin at Chatham Dockyard near the end of her modernisation which commenced 15 March 1968 and finished 31 May 1970. She was in the basin throughout May 1970. The photographer is looking forward and to port from the port side of 1 deck at 41 station showing two lockers fixed to the deck against the bulkhead at 39 station. The forefoot of the 25 feet motor cutter is in the top left of the picture. On the right is the open door leading to the lobby.
