The two gun decks are clearly shown and she appears to be sailing, fully rigged, in good wind with a blue ensign flying from the stern rigging and a pennant from the top of the main mast. Two crew members stand at the stern and others are ranged along the starboard rail. On the horizon are four very faintly drawn vessels including a three-masted ship.
