On board the Type 12 frigate Lowestoft (1960) in No. 3 basin at Chatham Dockyard near the end of her modernisation which commenced 15 March 1968 and finished 31 May 1970. She was in the basin throughout May 1970. The photographer is in the stores accountant office between 31 and 32½ stations on the port side of 3 deck looking to starboard showing a desk with a nest of drawers alongside, a telephone on it and a sliding door cupboard above against the starboard bulkhead. The sliding door to the office is closed on the right. A vertical format negative.
