On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 49 and 61½ stations on 2 deck looking forward and to port from 56 station showing emergency cable stowage in the foreground with an emergency change over switch and connection box above it. In the middle of the picture are the starter for the two speed exhaust fan above a transformer unit and next to them are four starter panels for supply fans. On the right is the door to the P.Os' mess.
