On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, at 37 station on 2 deck looking to starboard and aft into the wardroom lobby between 37½ and 39½ stations. Coat hooks and the wardroom door are on the left and the magazine and important key cupboard is next to the door. A suggestion box and four spare NuSwift fire extinguisher cartridges are below the key cupboard, a builder's plaque is above the cupboard and a fire extinguisher is in the corner. The hatch leading down to 3 deck and the stairs leading up to 1 deck are on the right.
