On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the aft petty officers' mess between 49 and 55¾ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft from the starboard side of the mess at 50½ station showing a bunk settee with a locker and an air conditioning unit above it. on the right are six kit lockers with a double bunk unit beyond them.
