On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in No. 2 mortar projectile room between 62½ and 68 stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking to port and aft from 66 station on the starboard side showing the Limbo mortar projectile stowage racks in the foreground with a capacity of 38 projectiles. the hand-operated chain hoist rail is under the deckhead. The door to the room is in the port bulkhead and a Nu-Swift fire extinguisher with four spare cartridges is by the side of the door.
