On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the 4.5 inch shell room between 19 and 23 stations on 4 deck looking to port from the starboard side at 22 station showing the shell hoist and the hoist operator's stool in the centre with shell stowage racks on both sides of the aisle.
