On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the A/S mortar metadyne room between 63¾ and 67 stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking aft and slightly to starboard showing two metadyne generators on the deck and two amplifier assemblies and a control panel against the starboard bulkhead on the left. Against the port bulkhead are two Metropolitan Vickers starter panels, a stowage box for test rack equipment, a foam fire extinguisher and the door to the room.
