On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the transmitting station between 26 and 28¼ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port and forward showing part of the Admiralty fire control box 10, mod. no. 1A. The Admiralty Fire control box Mk. 10 application unit Mk. 1 is next to the door to the compartment. Two fire control junction boxes and one gun direction junction box are against the forward bulkhead with a large number of telephones, push buttons, a microphone and a writing ledge to starboard of them.
