On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the transmitting station between 26 and 28¼ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard showing a large number of telephones, push buttons, a microphone and a writing ledge against the forward bulkhead with the officer's control panel and an electric fire in the corner. A star shell control unit, a ranging visual display unit and a clock reading 7.52 are against the starboard side.
