On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the No. 1 A/S mortar handing room between 67¼ and 71 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from 70¾ station showing the door to the room closed but not clipped. A telephone and a fire extinguisher are to the right of the door against the aft bulkhead. The fire main spray valve is in the starboard aft corner of the handing room. A vertical format negative.
