On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the No. 2 A/S mortar handing room between 62½ and 66¾ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from 66¼ station showing the Limbo mortar loading rack on the left with a fresh water tank, Nu-Swift fire extinguisher cartridges and a ready use locker against the end of it. Against the starboard side of the ship are fire and alarm gongs, a non-inductive resistance box 6 unit, a voltmeter switch box, a microphone, two push buttons and some small connection boxes.
