On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the crews' preparing space between 41 and 46¼ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward from 45 station on the port side showing, on the left, a stainless steel bench with a vegetable rack under and a double door cupboard above, a stainless steel sink unit with a cupboard under and an aluminium alloy shelf above. Against the forward bulkhead is a bench with tool drawers under. On the right is the control panel for the cooking range in the galley and a fire extinguisher is mounted below it.
