On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the combined radar office between 36¼ and 41 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft from 37 station showing a transponder, an interrogator and a JDA display unit against the ship's side. A JDA display unit, a video distribution unit, a fire extinguisher, a transmitter and a modulator are against the starboard bulkhead on the left. A control unit is on the deck at 40½ station and an electric fire is against the aft bulkhead.
