On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the transmitter room between 49 and 52 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft from 50 station on the port side of the room showing control circuit exchange units and a type 602 transmitter against the port bulkhead. On the left is the back of a CUJ 2 cabinet. Against the aft bulkhead is a unit described on Admiralty plan curator No. 899643/1 (NMM No. NPD1588) as an E.A.H. with test rack.
