On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the wheelhouse between 27½ and 29 stations on the centreline of 1 deck looking forward and to starboard showing the steering wheel and pedestal in the foreground with the engine room telegraph on the left and the revolutions telegraph on the right beyond the wheel. Rudder and course indicators are against the forward bulkhead. A speaking tube is on the right. A vertical format negative.
