The photographer is in the officers' cabin flat between 35½ and 41 stations on 3 deck looking aft from 37 station on the centreline showing the main passageway between the cabins. On the right is a bedding cupboard with the stairs leading up to 2 deck beyond it. Two fire extinguishers, a rack of Nu-Swift fire extinguisher cartridges and a loudspeaker are against the aft bulkhead. A fire main, fire hose stowage and an emergency air bottle are against the starboard bulkhead on the left.
