On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the switchboard flat in the boiler room between 46¼ and 49 stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking forward showing the Crompton Parkinson control section switchboard on the right. The gastight door to the flat is on the left. Four Nu-Swift fire extinguisher cartridges are in a rack against the forward bulkhead.
